At the Technical Administration's Street Department, about 40 dedicated employees work. Together, we are responsible for streets and roads, parks and forests, parking lots, the municipality's landfill, and public spaces. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Project Manager for waste management, you will be responsible for managing environmental permits and self-monitoring programs for the Storskogen waste facility, as well as for economic and environmental reporting related to the operations. You will support managers and contribute with materials in political matters. You will lead projects as needed, for example, in the development of leachate treatment, capping of landfills, and measures at the gas facility. The assignment also includes administration and coordination of the operation of the hazardous waste landfill.

The Technical Administration and the Street Department have many exciting challenges ahead, including stormwater plans, stormwater management, and sustainable urban development. In other words, we offer an exciting and interesting job where there is an opportunity to work with varied issues within the Street Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in regulatory authority and solid competence in supervision and environmental matters, as well as a relevant university degree. In this role, you will be employed in the Street Department of the Technical Administration and be responsible for both the Technical Administration's and Oskarshamn municipality's capping programs.

As a person, you are structured, relationship-building, and quality-conscious. You are results-oriented, flexible, and service-minded, with a good ability to collaborate and build trust. You use digital tools effortlessly and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.

You are accustomed to working based on political directives and presenting complex issues to various audiences. The role also involves financial responsibility for the project, which requires you to collaborate closely with the administration's economist and manage financial materials and measures in a secure and professional manner.
